Lodge Cancelled due to Heavy Snow

Mount Defiance Lodge No. 794's regular communication this evening, Wednesday, February 24th, has been cancelled due to the heavy snow. Our Public Roast Beef Dinner is still on schedule for Friday, February 26th. Take-outs from 4:30-5:00 with dine-in from 5:00 to 6:30 at the Masonic Temple.

Here are a few photos from Saturday's Masonic Breakfast hosted by Mount Defiance Lodge No. 794 at the Hot Biscuit Diner in Ticonderoga. Members of four lodges from the Essex District took part including brothers from Adirondack, Iroquois, Mount Defiance, and Rescue lodges.

Right Worshipful James Kelley, District Deputy Grand Master for the Essex District, attended, along with: Fred Hunsdon, Charles Krotz, Dennis Hunsdon, Dean Caveney, Carl Goepper, Dave Ferguson, Bob Bartlett, Rich Strum, and Donnie Norton.

Masonic Breakfast this Saturday in Ticonderoga

The February Masonic Breakfast for the Essex District will be held this Saturday, February 20th, at 9:30am at the Hot Biscuit Diner in Ticonderoga.

First Degree at Rescue Lodge No. 772 this Saturday

 A First Degree will be conferred at Rescue Lodge No. 772 this Saturday beginning at 3:00 at the Lodge in Crown Point. The degree will be followed by a pot luck dinner. Worshipful Scott Manning, Junior Warden at Rescue, will be conferring the degree.

Final Rehearsal for First Degree at Rescue Lodge No. 772

The final rehearsal for the First Degree at Rescue Lodge will be Sunday evening at 7:00pm. The degree will be on Saturday, February 20th, beginning at 3pm followed by a pot luck dinner. The Worshipful Scott Manning, Junior Warden, is conferring the degree.

Here are some photos from yesterday's "Pie and Ice Cream" event at Heritage Commons. Brothers from Mount Defiance Lodge No. 794 and Rescue Lodge No. 772 served cherry pie and ice cream to 44 residents at Heritage Commons to help celebrate Presidents' Day.

Brothers from Mount Defiance and Rescue Lodges have been serving cherry pie and ice cream to the residents of Heritage Commons and its predecessor since 1980 on a weekend near Washington's Birthday. Brothers from the two lodges also serve Pumpkin Pie with Cool Whip to residents at Heritage Commons on a weekend near Thanksgiving each year.

Cherry Pie and Ice Cream at Heritage Commons this Saturday

This Saturday, February 13th, at 2:00pm, brothers from Mount Defiance and Rescue Lodges will be serving cherry pie and ice cream to the residents of Heritage Commons in Ticonderoga. Brothers planning to lend a hand should plan to meet at 1:45pm at Heritage Commons.

The next regular communication for Mount Defiance Lodge will be this Wednesday, February 10th, at 7:30pm.

The next regular communication for Rescue Lodge No. 772 is this Wednesday, February 3rd, at 7:30pm. Rescue Lodge will be holding a First Degree on Saturday, February 20th, starting at 3:00pm.
